Re: Got the call
Very best wishes for a successful transplant!
Re: Got the call
Thanks for the replies. The surgeon said it was very straightforward and didn't take long to do at all, kidney started producing urine right away. Just got to hope things go as smoothly as possible. I was due to have the pd tube fitted next week so decent timing.
Re: Got the call
Great stuff. Also i'm just curious where exactly do they put the transplanted kidney in the recipient? I heard they put it somewhere near the hip, is that right?
Re: Got the call
They put it low down on my right side.
Re: Got the call
Fantastic news, all the best for your recovery. Just follow the rules to the letter and you'll make good progress. Incidentally yours is where mine is, I got my husband's, which was a big, lean kidney and although it's noticeable, I love my bump! Keep posting your progress!
The half full glass or the half empty? it's a no-brainer!

Hi Jonny,
I know you only had your transplant 3 days ago but how you doing so far? Do you already feel better than before you had it?
