Is it normal to be so tender after ESWL?

Is it normal to be so tender after ESWL?

I had the shockwave treatment for a 9mm stone a few days ago, which i might add doesn't seem to have worked since i haven't passed anything. But i still feel so tender three days later. Like a boxer has taken three shots to my kidney. Even the other kidney that wasn't treated and has no stones aches slightly. I also feel pretty tired but that could just be from the disrupted sleep. Is this normal for this procedure??
