Spring Covid Vaccine

Post by JMan »

Anyone else get a similar email/text. Turned up today
Covid is still out there, I guess, but are we expecting a small spike as more people mingle/travel in the summer.

Dear MR J88*****************
We’re inviting you to book a spring COVID-19 vaccination appointment. This is because your NHS record suggests you may have a weakened immune system.
You can check the summary of health conditions, treatments and medications that can cause a weakened immune system at https://www.nhs.uk/get-covid-vaccine.

How to get an appointment

Book online at https://www.nhs.uk/get-vaccination – answer ‘Yes, I have a weakened immune system’ or ‘I’d like to check’
Book on the NHS App
Find your nearest COVID-19 vaccination walk-in site at https://www.nhs.uk/covid-walk-in.
The last date you will be able to get your vaccination is 30 June 2024.

Yes got one of these plus a text from my GP. Booked in for next Friday. This will be No. 9.
I’m doing my best to live a “normal” life, but I still get a bit twitchy if people are a bit close physically (especially if they have a cough!).
