Life is very much normal I can assure you. I'd say it took me 3 months to be back to 90% full health, though at t The time I thought I was back to 100% but realistically that took a further couple of months. Back to work in 4 weeks part time increasing hours over 2 weeks till I was full time. Nearly 4 years on I almost forget I did it. A tiny scar remains & I have an annual check up with the renal team. I have no regrets at all.

I'm a bit too far south for them, but it's a good idea.

Still waiting for my brother to get even worse, but he's still hovering at just above 15%...
