What I have been told to do is: -

Wash hands with hibiscrub

Wipe surface with alcowipes

Remove bag from outer package & open connection shield packet

Wash hands with hibisol then put connection shield on and connect up.

Do exchange

Open mini cap packet

Use hibisol before disconnecting.

The only difference at work is I have to wash hands in another room so that’s why I use a paper towel to open the door and I then wash my hands with hibisol before touching the bag etc.
