Hi
Anyone out there had any experience with chemo and dialysis. Looks like the polycythemia is at a point where I now have to have chemo. I have had some people tell me it doesn't work well together, (PD).

yes I have but for a very different tumour.
I guess the biggest risks are the 'usual' ones of infection as chmo is effectivly going to 'knock for 6' what remaining immune system you have . ('strike out' would be the equivalent US term )
I actually had chomo whilst on hemo and tho it wasn't one of the best periods of my life I have survived it..
You will probably be on a lot of 'cover' antibios/antifungals to protect you but the exact nature of these is something you should ask you med team about.
