Helen's had her transplant

Post by MandyV »

Great news - Helen's (Rambaut) transplant went ahead yesterday as planned (her younger brother was the donor) - apparently all went well (I spoke to the PD nurses today) and, all being well, I will pop in and see her on Monday. I know she didn't want to get her hopes up too much beforehand because of what happened last year, but sounds as if her brother has been a real star and absolutely determined to donate to her - more credit to him!
