GPs no use

Does anyone else find their gp doesn't seem much bothered by kidney function results I've dropped 24points in a month to egfr31 and creatinine up to 150 it's just wait till next test that's tomorrow and I'm scared not very good with advice either

Hi tracieann,
I think the problem is kidney problems are not easy to diagnose, most of the results are better looked at as trends rather than just isolated tests.
Also there can be treatable reasons for changing results as well as permanent problems which will eventually lead to failure.
So GP's tend to tread carefully until they can eliminate various causes.
