One Year Post Transplant

Post by rheaybou »

Well I made it to my first kidney-versary last Tuesday. I spent Monday Evening with my donor having a few beers, a much better way than how we spent the evening 12 months ago.

Amazing how quickly time passes.
Now 35 with Alports and I had my first kidney-versary 18th feb 2013....I hope to have many more.

My living donor and his family are doing all well.

After how I felt on Tuesday I am either out of practice or need to celebrate less "hard!"

Well done; we passed our 100 day milestone recently and my brother says that he now feels "better than I have felt for I don't know how many years".

Ah that's such a nice image! Well done to you - by all accounts the first year can be the trickiest. Definitely a milestone to celebrate and I bet the beer tasted good?!
