Re: renal adequacy test

this pattern is typical as your renal function declines. what is your GFR and when are they talking dialysis? start asking the questions, start researching so that when the issue of the Big D. is raised, you are well informed and armed with questions.

Re: Veins/blood taking etc!

the amount of pain depends on who is taking the blood. if you are having blood taken at a,hospital suggest you ask for a phlebotomist to take it since they usually have more expertise. I would discourage you from using your left arm. each time the vein is used, scarring occurs. there are several,sit...

More frequent dialysis is better and there are Indications that it decreases the mortality rate of patients using it when compared to conventional in-unit dialysis and P...

Re: So you think it's funny, huh?

I understand where you are coming from, Ponder. kidney failure is a forgotten disease in my opinion. Re: Forum Topics

A way of overcoming he people only looking at their area of interest is to set it up so that there is a 'new posts/topic function. I go onto the 'I hate dialysis' forum and go the new pistes since last visit. I do a similar thing on here. If a topic diversifies too much maybe it couldbe arranged for...

The other week they told me that they had a kidney available as part of a three pair swap headed by an altruistic donor. We had a whole load more tests done and were all ready to book the plane tick...
