Hello, I'm bringing this back to the top to get some more opinions as I'm still trying to decide whether to go for the mini-pill or the coil. I need the one where I don't get heavy periods as I'm already pretty anaemic. I don't want the one where you put on loads of weight either (I think the inject...

Dont forget: Flu jab
hi all,
Don't forget to get your flu jabs! I'm getting mine done this week, which will hopefully prevent me getting the lurgy from the freshers
I'm not sure if I'll get the swine flu jab or not... I feel a little apprehensive about it to be honest!
Thoughts?

Save Jess-tival with Natalie Imbruglia! 16th October
Hi guys, LLTGL are very very excited to announce our upcoming ‘Save Jess-tival', a fantastic night of music and comedy to honour our wonderful Jess and to encourage people to "think about it, talk about it and do something about it" (organ donation that is!) Our headline acts are: stunni...

thanks for the speedy replies...the KPG always comes up trumps! I'll definitely talk to my GP about the HPV test at the same time...that sounds sensible! Glad the colposcopy thingy isn't bad, just sounds like a bad version of the smear test to me! And Thumps I think I'll decline looking at it on a T...

Abnormal cervical smears in transplantees
Well, I've just received news of my 2nd abnormal smear test in 12 months... although the letter says not to freak out, I am totally.freaking.out! I have to go for a colposcopy soon and am terrified they're going to find something really terrible... having just got used to my wonderful post-transplan...

Back to the subject of BP meds... what's the recommended BP for taking/stopping them? I am no BP meds at all and my BP is somewhere in the region of 110/70. My doc is happy with this, but it seems that most folks's has to be a lot less before the doctor is happy to let them come off them? ETA, I'm a...

hi Carol, I've just realised that if you are on incap benefits and/or a low income shouldn't you be getting them free anyway? Info for people on low incomes For people in receipt of benefits When I was a university student I remember getting free prescriptions as I only worked a few hours a week to ...
