Incompatible Kidney Tx Program

Hi Sandra! Hearing that news was a shocking, bc that's exactly what it was - a shock! After the intiial blast is over though, you will see that there IS hope at the end of the tunnel, and there are things that can be done. you're from Canada, so I don't know how much of an issue it would be to come ...

Hiya

Hiya Jack, May I ask what it is that you were diagnosed with? What sort of medicine are you taking - this "alternative medicine woman's" stuff or stuff from a real dr.? I'm sure you do feel lonely... when someone is sick, they feel lonely at any age. However, being young does have its adv...

Hi There...

Hi Cheryl... hope all goes well with your appt today. As Hal said, take it easy ~ or I'm going to have to contact your DSL people to disconnect your line so you have no choice but to stay offline and relax ("what does THAT mean", Cheryl questions Rachel) Here's a hug (((((CHERYL))))) ... a...

Hi Andy! ~long~

I know exactly what you're saying. I'm kinda thinking along the same lines myself. I was told that I can write something, and the transplant coordinator can pass it on. Or, I can have the tx coordinator pass on my info - and if they would want to open the lines of communication, they will contact me...

My opinion...

Hiya, Been there, done that. Dr.'s are not what they used to be in the olden days. You read about the "doc" in a hick town that would make house calls, know each patient by name, deliver a baby, and deal with every medical scenario. Like Cheryl said, don't just settle for a dr. bc you went...

Our Experience...

Hi, In my case we found some distant relative with my blood type who agreed to be tested. My situation became kind of critical, and we needed a kidney immediately. Needless to say, we were told that by pushing it and with the right amount of "pull" (its not what you know, its WHO you know)...
