i wanted a pancreas along with my kidney, but sadly, that didn't happen. i mean i woke up post tx and all i got was a kidney. that was awesome, but kinda a bummer too. it doesn't matter much my diabetes is very well controlled.

rollercoasters are a yeah :) as far as swimming, issuatic but doable - if you have pd. it all depends on your access, and if you can keep it dry. you can do really everything, just food wise there are restrictions. again, depends on which dialysis you do. i personally was very ill while on dialysis,...

I can understand the fluid part, and needing a stent.. but not sure about the pouch. is there bladder issues as well? dialysis wards are ALWAYS cold. so are surgical wards, both pre and post op. i'm still not sure why, but its HORRID. instead of waiting till i'm about to die from cold (bc from nervousness i also shake.. in surgery areas) i started to ask for a blanket immediately. if i ever get admitted to thte hos...
