Hi Ruth,
I do not have to pay for my perscriptions post Tx but that is because i am in full time education and under 25 or 21 which ever it is!!!
But my friend who has had a Tx has to pay for his medication.

Piercings

Hi All,
Just wondering has any body had any piercing done post Transplant? I really want the top of my ear done but I have been advised not to do it, cos of infections and stuff- But surely if i took good care of it, it wouldnt be such a bad idea!!!

I went camping last year, and for most of the time i did manage to heat my bag using a warmer, but how about a hot water bottle, wrapped up in a towel, inside a cool bag!!! It does work!!! May not be as warm as usual but it does kinda work!!!

AL, I dialyzed any where i could, I even did it in the middle of a field with only cold water and a tent over my head (no not recommended but at the time it did me good). I've been to Tx clinic this morning and there was no other way to dscribing it other than a cattle market. It was manic there. There were no seats left, so alot of people were standing. How do u decide who deserves a seat and who should stand up??? :? obvisously you cannot judge a book by its cover!...
