Since my husbands transplant, he was urinating 8 - 10 ltrs of urine per day, up approx. every 40 mins during the course of the night, but it does seem to be slowing down now passing 3 -4 ltrs per night up now once an hour!!!

OUr hospital unit gave us a reciepe book, which was written by patients for patients with kidney failure.

Thats is awful, We had the call had to go to hospital and wait for all the tests to be done before they said it was a go go!!! There was even another gentleman there having the same tests who was my husbands back up. He did get the other kidney.

My husband worked to the day before he had his tube fitted for dialysis. The job he did was with steel. a very heavy and dirty job so by going on dialysis he was unable to carry on doing this type of work. (He worked for same company for over 40 years yet couldnt find him a cleaner and lighter job!!...
