UMBILICAL CORD.

Our fifth granddaughter was born on Friday. When the umbilical cord was cut there was only one artery. The midwife explained to my son and his wife this can lead to kidney problems, they will have to keep having her checked. My husband got IGA. could there be a link? Has anyone else ever heard of th...

Re: Council tax reductions for dialysis room

Yes our council tax went down a band also. Are you on a water meter? Because of the amount of time hand washing our water rates were capped.

The nurse at my husbands GP as wrote a letter and helped to fill the forms in. We are still waiting to hear from them. Its just one worry after another. His surgeon ...

Did anyone watch Granada reports last week? The surgeons from the Liverpool Royal went out to Gaza to perform transplants mainly on children. The work was followed by the cameras. The surgeons who went out there performed my husbands transplant. It was a good insight to how other countries handle ki...

Re: Chicken pox

You could end up with shingles. My husband got shingles after his transplant and became very very poorly, in hospital for 3 weeks.

Get yourself checked out a.s.a.p.

Re: Cathater tube fixing.

My husband used a money wallet belt. He bought from Matalan a flesh coloured belt, the ones you have on holiday to hide your cash! He made a hole in the back of the fabric and fed his tube into it. It made his tube secure. and was able to carry on day to day routines without the worry of catching hi...
