My dialysis unit gives flu shots automatically. Had mine about 3 weeks ago. The week after, got pneumonia. Which leads me to my next question. Someone here said the pneumonia shot last 10 years. I was told it was 5 years and had mine 4 years ago and still got pneumonia??? Is it worth it?

Definitely call your unit!!!!! I had leakage once that coused something similar. I am now in the hospital due to having dialysis fluid in my lungs. If you don't get out what you put in, your nurse needs to know and see what can be done. Good luck!!
