I mentioned my issue briefly after chatting with him several times online which is where we met. He didn't e...

Then, after about 2-3 treatments, it went away and has never returned. Best see your surgeon. St...

My dialysis unit gives flu shots automatically. Had mine about 3 weeks ago. The week after, got pneumonia. Which leads me to my next question. Someone here said the pneumonia shot last 10 years. I was told it was 5 years and had mine 4 years ago and still got pneumonia??? Is it worth it?

It is called a paired donor match. I am on this list with my sister as well as the cadaver list. You can be on both at the...

Possible Transplant

My name came up in a 15 center match. I don't have much information yet, but there will be a conference call tomorrow to get this coordinated. If it all works out, I may have a new kidney in a few weeks :D

Thanks for your post Jman!!!! I did have some fluid drained (1600 cc's) and there is more in there. They will drain that tomorrow. I may also have my pd catheter removed. They will do a cat scan with dye in my fluid tomorrow to see if it's directly a hole in my diaphram causing the fluid. If...

Definitely call your unit!!!!! I had leakage once that coused something similar. I am now in the hospital due to having dialysis fluid in my lungs. If you don't get out what you put in, your nurse needs to know and see what can be done. Good luck!!
