I agree Racheal, constipation was the worst bit for me. Definatly needed a bigger cup/mug for the vast amount of fluids you have to drink. I found that knowing how much the cup held was useful too as different ppl said it was different amounts!! OH and a pen and paper to tally up the amount you drin...

I think alot of the problem was feeling nauseous all the time, now that has all gone I can take the meds without any issues x

The biggest tablet i take is mycofenalate and i can take that no problem now :D I have trouble with the tiny pred though lol but only because they taste yack and start to dissolve straight away before i get chance to swallow them. I now take them with breakfast and they are getting reduced tomorrow ...

When ever my phosphate was even near the high side i itched like crazy, even to the point of drawing blood. I have IgA, I was stage 3 by the time i found out and they can only tell by a biopsy. I had pre op bloods took and was told after my op (for something totaly unrelated) that a red flag had been raised on my kidney function. Lainepop the worst thing about it all was the constpation afterward, if i could do it all again i would start the bowel meds the day before the transplant! Also my taste buds 'went' for the first 7 days due to the drugs, even water tased furry and yack! Take plenty of different drinks to help you dr...
