LAST POST?
Well folks, this is it. I have been trying to post this for the last hour but I keep falling asleep over the computer. Fortunately a computer pal has just called in and is typing for me. I imagine that this is the beginning of the end... that from now on I will grow sleepier and sleepier day by day ...

Hey Folks! Back on Dialysis!
Caught you out there didn't I? I was back on the dialysis machine for 3 hrs, but not for dialysis. It was for a process called ultra-filtration, to take off a couple litres of fluid to aid my breathlessness. I will be going to the hospice in about an hrs time and I am dictating this to my invaluable...

What a Jabe!
I say, I say, my old beans and crumpets! Isn’t this a jolly old jape? First I get to plan my own death, then I get to write my obituary and then to read what you all you nice folks say about it. It makes me feel too good to die. I am going to apply to the Supreme Court for a writ of Habeas Co...

for Bill
Bill: you like discussions on philosophy. Well, here is such a discussion, totally non-contentious, which you might enjoy but is pitched at a level far beyond my capacity to absorb. Much too deep for me. But maybe you could cope. It's an extract from the autobiography of Sean O'Casey with whose play...

Dear all Just beginning to sense some anger coming through in the posts on this thread.... Ruth Yes, I'm afraid that I do too and am going to withdraw hastily from this topic. I'm sorry to do so because I do like to discuss such matters and I only wish that it were possible to do so, openly, frankl...

[quote="nycpetit"> should have put "usually." < Not usually, but occassionly. I know, for I too have read many stories, that enormous good can sometimes arise, Phoenix-like, from great suffering and my hat goes off to all those people who have used their illnesses and misfortunes...

Hi Bill: I agree with all you say. 'We just don't know' has to be the current answer. That's why I am at issue with all dogmatics...with those who say there is a god and with those who say there is no god. How do I know whether there is a god or not...or whether there are a thousand gods? All I can ...

hmm?? ... I wonder if this is only the begining of a beautiful relationship?? ... as Old Borris and Pam shyly close the curtains on this posting and with a coy smile turn out the lights and disappear into the murky depths of Personal Messaging ... Rik starts to wonder if KPG are missing a new sidel...

quote~ I believe pain in life, true pain, always brings something wonderful in the end. . No, it doesn't always. That is simply not true. I don't want to critisize your posting especially after making you laugh [sorry about the Coke: can I send you a bottle in replacement?] but I do wish that folk ...
