Thanks for this. I didn't know boiling would remove phosphate. Will start doing that (used to eat a lot of stir fry thinking I was being healthy!) But I guess that's why the dietician told me there is a healthy diet and there is a kidney healthy diet! Potassium levels at the moment are well controll...

Hi all I started heamodialysis about 5 months ago, and have just switched this week to PD. Anyway when I started dialysis my phosphate level was 3. Hi all, So I thought I would update as we saw the obstetrician yesterday. She was very helpful and positive about our situation. She actively encouraged us to try. She did mention their is a risk but as my blood pressure is well controlled (it was 114/78 at r he hospital ) she doesn't see any reason...

Wow Mandy that clinic sounds useful unfortunately nothing available in oxford. As an update I spoke to my old consultant (he got promotion and stopped doing renal clinics) but he has arranged a meeting for me with an obstetrician who works with a lot of dialysis patients etc as he says pregnancy is ...
