Hiya Jude, if you look above you can see my previous post above, I had a mastectomy and Kidney failure at the same time, Breastcancer.org is a good place to get support for your breast cancer, talk to your macmillian nurse that is connected to your consultant, its not easy having both,just take one ...

it takes me about 4-5min to stop bleeding, Sorbsan, its like a fuzz felt but has silver in it, yes silver, anyway as long as you apply pressure it normally stops, do somethings get it wrong and it bleeds when I stand up.

Hi,
I've been waiting 6 years to go on transplant, got husband's bloods done last month but not heard anything yet. Its frustrating not being told anything.
Might ring Community nurse up to find out whats happening.

I have a leg graft and use sorbsan dressing to stop it bleeding, I get these from GP.

Hi,
I am on hemodialysis and my pth level is over 600 ng/l I am on 2 one-alpha .25mg every other day, I wonder if anybody else on hd have a high pth and if so what medicine you have to lower the level to an acceptable level.

Aspirin or no Aspirin for a PTFE AV leg graft

Hi
I was wondering how many people here that have a graft are on aspirin?
I used to be on aspirin, but have now been taken off by me consultant and I am worried that clotting might happen with out it.

I too have PKD with nobody in my family has it, I am on HD dialysis, just keep you chin up and see a renal doctor to mange your PKD, if you need anymore help pm me,

I'm Home Dialysis at Salford Royal train NXstage, I don't have one, I have a Garmbro and dialysis every other day, but there are a few using NxStage at this one.

just wondered how dialysis and chemo, you coped with the both,
I'll prob have to have chemo again, as I am already on dialysis, just wondered if you dialysised the chemo out quicker than not being on dialysis?
