Re: Mycophenalate and Bronchiectasis
Update:
Consultant has agreed the cause of the severe chest infection/wide spread effects of bronchiectasis is likely due to Mycophenalate. Waiting for confirmation from chest doctor to confirm no other factors.
Will wait and see what happens next.....
Keep well all x

Re: Working Overseas Post TX
Great news about donor.... Wishing you both all of the best! After surgery and assurances that meds and kidney are working, all being well, you should be able to get back to your job and travels. As long as you take your meds and take basic precautions to avoid infections whilst travelling, the worl...

Have a brilliant time!
I can't offer any advice, other than as a mother to older teenagers:
Everything in moderation!
Enjoy yourself, but not at the expense of your health.
Good for you for going!

Hi All, Hope all as well as can be with you all. Chris is now coming up 10 years post transplant in September, and had bloods done yesterday. Creatinine and everything ok, but Urea crept up to 10.2 from 8.5 a couple of months ago, then 10.5 before that, so going up and down. Tried phoning Preston Re...
