Re: Catheter Repositioning

Hi,

When I had mine repositioned it was used the next day, albeit with a reduced amount of fluid and it worked well.

Good luck

Re: Wonderful news.....

Well WagonLyn they wouldn't let me keep my lippy on for the op...but you can be assured that as soon as I was back in my room it was on!!
Am doing really well, if it wasn't for my family being full of colds then I could've gone home today, instead they are keeping me here until at least Monday.

Re: Wonderful news.....

Hi Sue,

I don't know my donor. All I know is it is a gentleman aged 40-45 who needed to have the kidney removed, I've no idea why.

Thus was all done via the transplant list.

I still can't believe how lucky I am.

Wonderful news.....

The transplant was done on Tuesday and I awoke feeling like a huge veil had been moved. By yesterday all my bloods were back to normal levels. I wish you all ...

Hi I, I'm pleased to hear that decisions have been made...it must be a relief to you. I have started my training for home hemo by doing my own needles...not as scary or painful as I was expecting. My nurse has said that she recommends 4 times a week at home for 2hrs althought the consultant says 5 t...
