Hi, just wondering what the rules are in other hospitals about eating yogurt and drinking Actimel with a transplant? I have had a few "blips" with my CR levels going up but things have improved now apart from upset stomach that won't go away. I usually take Actimel to settle things down an...

I used to do just the same Dotty and I never got sore, always used Mepore dressings though and made sure my skin was really dry before sticking it on.......also tucked the tube in my knickers! Looks like I may well be returning to PD after 4+ years with transplant so I am really gonna need you guys ...

Took just under a year for me and my husband but they didn't seem to rush even though I felt pretty ill and my CR was 560, depends on which hospital too.

I felt sick a lot at stage 4 too but was never physically sick. Eating little and often and making sure nothing was greasy or salty helped a lot though.

Hi, I have only just joined KPG and noticed your post.
I have had foamy urine for years on and off, I was told by my GP it is protein, and not to worry unless the other kidney results are not normal.
