Hi all Got sent back to hospital on Monday, came home yesterday. I now have a neckline/hickman line inserted. This was done on Tuesday. I'm still bleeding from exit point and its so painful. Is there anything I can do or take to ease the pain, I just can not get comfortable. Any advise please?? Than...

well folks, woke up had a shower at 6am Tuesday 1st July, after waiting for a bed 6 hours on Monday! My Dad went down at 9.am and I followed 2 hours later at 11am. All I can remember was this wonderful man with such a lovely assent talking to me........... The next thing I asked the time is was 7.30...

Its late the night before.......
Can't believe its now 10.25pm and I have not packed!! I got my list already for my day tomorrow....... a real mixture of nerves and anixety together with a sense of happiness, things are really going to happen on Tuesday

Well folks had my pre-op assessment yesterday, had 3 tests within first hour of getting into hospital - bloods 13 bottles!! x-ray and ecg. Went on the ward and had a nose around, then was checked for MRSA and CMV. Had a long chat with yet another doctor....whose english was limited!! cough cough mov...

Hi Cath I had iron infusions this time last year - mine was done with a drip in the top of my hand - usually last 30-45mins weekly for 6 weeks - believe me you feel so much better after 2nd or 3rd time. your not restricted (only sit up in bed) so you can use your laptop etc but time fly's as you tal...
