Re: Hi Update from jbell
Hi Jbell I am sorry you are so having a bad time, I feel for you and know how much of a shock it would have been to hear that you would only survive 3 years on dialysis and as wagolyn says that is the norm for someone with all of your problems but like he also says the norm does not apply to us. I w...

Yes it is 6 hours every session and its not so bad now I have gotten used to it, I do feel better for it too, so things are slowly getting better. I changed to nightshift in ...

Re: Could be a lot worse.
I can see both sides of this debate, perhaps tibbs you were a little bit out saying you are new here and you will settle in, everyone is new at some point I was myself at one time, and was compared unfairly in a post to others who were very different from me at the time it opened up a can of worms a...

Re: Hi Update from jbell
I too have a very low opinion of the nurses at my unit, like wagolyn said there are a couple who seem to know what they are doing and can answer questions fairly well, the rest of them are just in out of the cold as far as I am concerned. I get most of my answers now from other people at the unit wh...

Re: Hi Update from jbell
so glad to hear that you are doing a bit better now and you have transferred to Perth although the transport seems to be a bit of a nightmare for you, I too get transport to and from dialysis but my unit uses cars which are driven by volunteers so I don.t have that bother of being in with other peop...

Re: More news from me
Thanks everyone for your good wishes, I am still not that great, I am so tired all the time and often fall asleep during the day as well as in the evening after I settle down and start to watch tv.
