Carers UK

Carers UK is a supportive community and a movement for change and it works with and on behalf of all carers. A registered charity, it is guided by a Board of Trustees that’s primarily made up of carers or former carers.

Its aims are:

  • To encourage carers to recognise their own needs
  • To develop appropriate support for carers
  • To provide expert advice and information to carers
  • To bring the needs of carers to the attention of government and other policy makers

Its members support one other through a UK-wide network of branches and carers' local support groups as well with online support, where experience, ideas and information can be shared.

The telephone helpline is available on 0808808777 Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm and you can contact directly through email [email protected]
