Hello, I need informations about UPJ obstruction surgery, my fiance maybe needs one and I'm not finding good information about this topic and it seems scary and painful all I´ve found. So, I would like to know about people experiences with this surgery like how long the surgery lasts, pain after surgery, hospital time...risks and success rate. I think it will be a laparoscopyc pieloplasty but I not sure yet.

The other questions she should address to her consultant or GP, each person is different, and full knowledge of the case would be required to make realistic comment.
Any pain after the procedure, if reported to the medics will be dealt with.
