Post TX Recovery

Post by Johnylefox »

Iga took my kidneys Dec 15 / Jan 16.

I received a tx from a paired exchange on 14 Dec 17.

Just over 5 weeks ago.

I do feel less toxic and generally better but fatigue is still an issue. Will I ever feel ready to go back to work? Will I always be tired?

Congratulations on the new Kidney.

The tiredness does go.. remember you have not been well and have had a big op.
Well enough to return to work varies from one person to another. Those in clinic with me post transplant went back to work from 8 weeks to 6 months. Depending on what they did for a living, how active it was and how they felt.

You will get there.
