transplant call

Postby igor1974 » Sun Nov 19, 2017 5:34 pm

Looking back at posts from those of you lucky enough to have received a deceased donor kidney, it seems that most people get 'the call' in the early hours of the morning? Is this generally the case?

Mine was 1 or 2am - my mother took it. But I remember her waking me and the night drive to the hospital through the snow. It was suitably dramatic.
