Are You Waiting for a Transplant?

Post by Emmie »

Hi everyone

I'm Emma, joint-founder and trustee of the charity 'Live Life Then Give Life' (www.lltgl.org.uk)

Back in 2006 we launched two awareness-raising slideshows to promote organ donation and the Gift of Life to the public. You can watch them both here:

I am now in the process of producing updated versions of these, one of which will be used by the Dept of Health for NHS staff awareness training.

However I currently have a lack of photos of people who are awaiting transplant and wondered if anyone here might be happy to submit a piccie that I may be able to include? I'm particularly short of photos of men but would welcome them from ladies too!

Photos need to be as high a resolution as possible (otherwise they blur when enlarged on a screen) and need to show you faced towards the camera if possible. A form will need to be signed before the slideshow is released so if you're not happy, you can change your mind at any time.

My email address to receive photos is: [email protected]

The deadline is really tight so if you could send over photos today if possible I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
