Catheter Op

Post by R30 »

Good luck June. Had mine about six weeks ago and it was fine. You may experience some shoulder pain for a couple of days after the op - this is due to the carbon dioxide they have to pump into you to insert the catheter (laparoscopy). Nothing to worry about, but can be painful.
I was back at work within three days so you'll be fine.

:) Posting on Behalf of June.
Just been in to visit and everything went OK and should get home tomorrow. A little bruised & sore but doing well.
Booked up for next week to check the dressing and review the wound.

Colin.
