Cant think of better news than THAT Kelly :D
dont you go treating him any different mind ... no wrapping him up in cotton wool or anything stupid like that ...
Petes brother is someone special ... to give a kidney to his brother ...

get a list of questions ready to ask the Docs like we spoke about .. no question is too daft ... if you want to know something ask ...

make sure he has plenty to do whilst he is imprisoned .. er sorry ... in hospital ... cd's dvd's laptop bboks .. magazines ... (just remember he wont be able to reach the 'topshelf' for a why so you'll have to supply them for him :)).. and anything else he normally can relax or relate to ...

and one of the best things I found was backless M&S mens slippers ... you cant bend over to slip on the backs normal slippers .. and you have to were slippers or somthing on ones feet ... (get him some manly moccasins!!) ... they normally try and get you up and out of bed within 24 hours of your op and being able to slip your feet into slippers was a treat.
and also pop into boots or bodyshop and get him some wet wipe things ... (different flavoured ones cucumber is refreshing!!) if he feels better just with a cool wipe he will feel better in general ... then he will be out sooner ... I really took to having a cool wipe and wiping away the smell of hospital on me just for a while ...

Steves right though ... you will get most and the best support here too ... ask here if your not sure of something ... and above all .. DONT WORRY!!! :D

all the best to your Pete he is a really good man ... and he is a lucky man to have a brother like he has ... and a partner like you
