I would guess you have nothing to worry about on the creatinine but you should be asking your transplant team, they have the full picture.

Best wishes.

Hi Sadz
I will be 3 years post transplant (deceased donor) on 11/2, my creatinine level was around 140 for several months post tx and my Renal Specialist was very happy with this. Recently is has been in the mid 90's. My Specialist told me that you need to look at all the results of blood test to get a proper indication of what is going on. Your Consultant should explain all your results to you at each appointment and if there are any concerns.

I still worry about my results before I visit my Specialist, but now not until a couple of days before, rather than 2 weeks before appointment and think it is only normal to worry to some extent (on 2 monthly appointments which is the normal here after first 6 months or so post tx, once stable.)

Hope this helps and things continue to go well for you.
Regards Suz

Heat definitely raises creatinine. Follow your doctor's suggestion on fluid intake. Too much water can lower sodium levels, which is not a good place to go either. My creatinine has stayed in the 2.1-2.4 range for years. The 2 times it spiked higher was in the presence of respiratory inflammation from pollen exposure. Get to know your range and watch the trends. Best wishes to you.
