Hi there everyone
My name is Sammy and I am currently doing a project in skl which involves me having to look at different ways of treating kidney failure.
I have a questionaire that I was going to take to my local hospital to get response from. Unfortunately the hospital is being very late in giving me a clearance. That is why I was hoping people here could give me some response to help me understand the issue of renal failure a bit more and to understand your perception.
My questions are:

For the dialysis patients:
Describe your experience of dialysis in one word.
How long have you been on dialysis.
How long have you had kidney problems for.
What exactly happened which cause your kidneys to fail
How did you choose between the different methods of dialysis.
What are you views of organ donation and transplant.
If you are comfortable, can you please tell me your age.

For transplant patients:
How long ago did you have transplantation?
Describe the experience in one word.
Have you been prescribed any drugs after the transplant. Can you please provide some names.
What are you views of organ donation and transplant.
If you are comfortable, can you please tell me your age.

If you are not comfortable answering some of the questions, you could send it to me via e-mail to sammy2359@hotmail.co.uk

Thanks.
