pregnancy questions

I had a kidney transplant 2 years ago because I have FSGS. My doctor has given me the "ok" to try to conceive. I had to change some of my meds. I am currently taking Norvasc and Aldomet for my blood pressure. I also had to stop taking the diuretics that I was on for my swelling. Right now, I am unusually swollen and having bouts of diarrhea fairly frequently. I went to my regular physician and ruled out most causes of diarrhea, so I think it is a side effect of the Aldomet that I just started taking 1 month ago. Has anyone taken this drug and had similar side effects? Has anyone dealt with diarrhea during pregnancy? I am not pregnant yet, but because we are trying I am afraid to take medicine for the diarrhea. ANy suggestions?
