Hi Keith,
I was told I could not take metformin for my transplant diabetes.
I might be because of a drug interaction to Prograf, cyclosporin.

I take ACTOS, the class of drug they are very concerned about( heart failure
) and often write about in the news.
I take just 1/2 tablet of the lowest dose and it works for me.
