Whats the differnce?

Post by Robert »

I noticed that some people express their creatinin level as a figure with a decimal point e.g 10.5

I've always been told mine as a figure with out the decimal point, its generally around 220-250

Is it just a difernt way of expressing the value and is there a formulae for changing between the two different ways.

Best regards

Robert.

Creatinine US UK conversion

Post by JMan »

Different units of measurement.. Most of the world uses SI units which in this case is micromols per litre (µmol/L) (I think its micro) but the US uses milligrammes per decilitre (mg/dl).

SI units is Systeme Internationale d'Unites.

There are various conversion calculators online. eg: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... tnG=Search

Hope this helps.
