Iron, Question for anyone on home heamo

Postby JMan » Thu Feb 12, 2009 9:25 pm

This a question aimed at anyone on home haemo. Are you allowed to give yourself IV iron via the machine. Or does your trust expect you to be in the unit for this. Mine won't allow it, some sort of red tape my trust has in place due to some people having bad reactions.

Any views on this, answers welcome and if you can PM me which trust your under as well.

Many thanks
