PD Pain

The last two times I've used the APD night machine I've woken with an incrediable pain in my right side and shoulder. When it happened yesterday I assumed it was trapped wind but it happened again today, can trapped wind linger for that long?!
Is this normal with PD or should I be running to the hospital?!
