I have a new kidney!

Post by christineDC »

:D
Just a quick note to say that one week ago today I received a transplant from my aunt! So far, so good. Creatinine is stable at 1, no sign of rejection (knock on wood) and I feel WONDERFUL! Everything went incredibly smoothly and I can't believe how much better I feel than before.

I had my surgery at MGH in Boston and can't say enough good things about them. Great doctors, nurses etc.

I don't post often but if anyone has questions, feel free to send me a private message.

best.
