Spironalactone

Post by Volitiveflyer »

I want to dip my toe in the water and ask for views on Spironalactone. (Diuretic) everytime my hubby has been prescribed this, it has got rid of the excess fluid but has caused havoc with the Creatine & Potassium levels to the point that kidney function has been quite impaired. When he stops taking the drug the kidney function goes up.

We have been at clinic again today (and have to return next week) as hubby is still fluid overloaded and I do not want to go back down the route of this particular drug again.

Views/Input Appreacited.
