There has been a lot of information released lately about the combination of Sirolimus and MMF from medical journals/conferences etc. These are initial reports from trials of the combination. Seemingly, in comparision to Tac/MMF, it is associated with increased incidence of rejection incidents during the first year after transplant and decline in overall kidney function compared to Tac/MMF, or cyclo/MMF. Tac/MMF remains the first choice combination in the U.S.
