On 17th July 2004, a really good freind of Pete and mine was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was 40 years old and lived life to the full!! he had never married and never had any children, he was far to busy and lived his life on constant fast forward.
You are all probably thinking why on earth is she writing this on here, what has it to do with us, not alot really, but if any good did come out of alfie dying, it was the fact that Pete treasures his life even more now, even though he does have to dialyse 3 x a week for 4!/2 hours at a time!!, and especially after havin his TX cancelled.
Hope I havent rambled too much, but the funeral was only on Tuesday, and he had over 350 people turn up, which gives you some idea of the type of guy he was. Very special to me and Pete.
I feel much better now for rambling on so thank you.
