Creatinine

Ok, here's the thing I am not sure about. When your creatinine in blood is elevated it is obvious that you have a kidney problem. However, from what I read if the kidney function is stable, even at GFR of 10 the creatinine will be normal.
Makes me very confused, as I am right now peeing about 400mL and yet my bloodwork just returned normal. I'll have to see if I can get clearance test done... Yes, I know 400mL a day is not normal...
