USA visit and Jenny has her "wings" back

Hi everyone
Haven't posted for a while. There's not much to tell as Jenny is cruising along just fine. It's almost scary as usually, in my experience, when things are going so good, that's when a good kick in the teeth is just round the corner. I guess that's the pessimist side of me which didn't exist ( I have always considered myself an optimist ) until Jenny's transplant. I don't particularly like feeling pessimistic.
My trip to USA is "on" and I'll be in the following places:
Beaver Dam, Chilton, Wisconsin, Des Moines, Indianola, Humboldt, Rock Valley, Iowa some time between July 9th and 31st. So, if there is anyone who wants a visit from a real live "kiwi" let me know and I'll try and fit you into my schedule. I went to clinic with Jenny a couple of weeks ago and surprised her by asking the specialist if she could fly and maybe meet up with me on my way home in Fiji. Surprise, surprise, she's got her "wings" back and was given approval. To me, that was a sign that the doc's are confident with her progress. They even suggested we leave the kids behind. Yee Ha!!
Well, this a short and sweet post as there's things to do, places to be and not too much to report. I'm taking one of the younger (23yo) staff members with me to the states who has never been out of NZ so if you see a mini version of Crocodile Dundee and and a grey haired, tired looking father figure looking lost over there, please help us out.
This is about my 9th or 10th business trip to the states and I don't get too excited about them but to see the look on this young guys face when I told him he was coming just cracked me up. He nearly wet his pants and for the last couple of weeks he's been sorting out video cameras, spare film, whether his mobile phone will work over there, etc. etc. Wait til he finds out he's gotta tip over there !! I was going to fly back once my business is finished but this young guy wants to go to Disneyland. I was going to leave him to go there by himself but thought the better of it. He's liable to end up getting mugged, raped or something worse while in LA so looks like I've got to hold his hand and go on every crazy ride and try to remain calm and dignified. Jeez, why me ?? No wonder I have grey hair at the tender age of 41, 42 or 43 ( not sure on my age bit ).
Take care everyone.
Andy
