Dialysis in conjunction with long term TPN and stoma

Post by D3-savage »

Hello, my grandmother is desperately seeking to talk to anyone that has dialysis that also has a long-term hickman TPN line (used 6 days out of 7 for 14 hours a day) and also a long term stoma?
Dialysis is looking imminent after her kidney function (the 1/4 that is still there) is rapidly declining, there's also no chance of transplant so this is another long term fix.

Thanks in advance

I would think mum will have Haemodialysis but her medical team will tell her what is possible, just ask.

Best wishes.
