Doctor Nightmare

I'm 73, male and live in the USA.
On January 5th, 2017 I visited my doctor and they took blood, several x-rays, EKG, urinalysis, and the doctor talked and examined me briefly.
I told him I was having bowel movements only about every 5 to 7 days and strongly suspected I had kidney problems because of steroids prescribed by a ear-nose-throat specialist a few months earlier.
This Monday it will be 11 days since my visit and I have not heard back from his office. But I picked-up a copy of my blood work a few days ago and researching it I'm fairly certain I have kidney disease.
I contacted a kidney/nephrology clinic and they were booked until April this year. But when I read them my blood work results they agreed to work me in after they received my records from my doctor and they decide I am in need of help right away. This was just a few days ago on Thursday.
So far the doctor's office has not forwarded the information to the clinic. But I continue to suffer mostly with stomach pain, nausea, and weakness. Somehow I suspect Monday will go by and the records will not have been forwarded.
Here is what the blood test showed as abnormal:
BUN = 31
BUN/ Creatinine = 25.1
Urine Microalbumin = < 5.0
Microalbumin/Creat Ratio = < 7.0
Creatinine, Ser = 1.28
eGFR If = 55
Red Blood Cells = 5.61
When I eat something bad I get sicker and colder. That's my only barometer.
I wish I knew what stage I'm in. That would help a little.
Other symptoms:
Dizzy
Confused
Trouble breathing while flat on my back (fluid in lungs?)
Feels like heart palpitations (occasional).
Chest pain.
Headaches.
Chest pain and headaches will all go away if I drink a lot of water.
Thanks
