joint pain relief with kidney disease

Post by loumermaid »

Following on from my nephrology appt last week, I've just received the report. It states I must avoid taking diclofenac and other nsaids. So what can I take? It suggests paracetamol, but I was put on diclofenac once paracetamol wasn't working. What do kidney patients take for pain relief?

It is best to talk to your GP, and consultant, about other pain relief, a course of physiotherapy may prove helpful.

Make sure they are both fully aware of your pain.
