Life insurance and mortgage cover

Post by lashy »

Hi All,
Hope you're all as well as your lives allow at the moment.
Chris (partner of 15 years and 10 years post transplant) is looking at getting life insurance and/or mortgage cover. Have any of you got any suggested companies and/or policies that we could look at?
He needed transplant due to IGA nephropathy, and has been relatively well for the 10 years since transplant. We're just hoping he can get some form of cover, even with being a transplant patient.
Take care all.

3 years post TX I increased my mortgage and moved. I couldn't get life/insurance cover that included kidney, they were all excluding this and the prices were much more expensive.

I checked through a broker, online and through searched transplant specialist companies. Thankfully I have life cover through work but not any mortgage cover
Now 35 with Alports and I had my first kidney-versary 18th feb 2013....I hope to have many more.

My living donor and his family are doing all well.
